KAA Gent striker Gift Orban has been named UEFA Europa League Player of the Week after his brilliant performance against Breidablik Kópavogur on Matchday 4. Orban scored a hat-trick to guide his team to their 3rd consecutive group stage victory (5-0).This brings them one step closer to qualification for the last eight. This is the second time in 2023 that Orban has won the UEFA Europa Conference League Player of the Week award. He also scored a hat-trick last time.
