FECAFOOT is imploding. The president of the Cameroon FA, Samuel Etoo, and the 4th vice-captain, Henri Njalla Quan, are at war. Henri Njalla Quan has attacked the management of sponsorship contracts."Surprisingly, most of the death threats I received began after I asked the marketing and communications director for details of the contracts linking FECAFOOT to its sponsors.This request was made not only in my capacity as vice-president, but also in my capacity as chairman of FECAFOOT's marketing, promotion and media committee.
FECAFOOT was quick to respond with a suspension. "Due to actions contrary to the provisions of the statutes of the Cameroon Football Federation, four (04) of the five (05) members of the Emergency Committee have decided to provisionally suspend Mr Njalla Quan Jr, in accordance with the provisions of article 42 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the statutes, until the next Executive Committee meeting," reads the press release.
