Nigerian international right-back and Fenerbahce player Bright Osayi-Samuel is facing a 5-10 match suspension in the Turkish Super Lig. The reason is that after Fener's victory over Trabzonspor (2-3) on Sunday March 17, a fan invaded the pitch and made a threatening move towards the Fenerbahce players. Faced with this situation, Osayi-Samuel bravely intervened. However, the fan involved in the altercation was hospitalized in intensive care. This underlines the seriousness of the incident involving the Nigerian defender. As a reminder, other fans had joined the pitch, attacking the players and creating an indescribable situation during the match.
Osayi-Samuel, in relation to this situation, is exposed to sanctions, insofar as the Disciplinary Committee of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) could take the matter into its own hands.
