Al Ahly will not be playing in the Club World Cup final. After beating Al Ittihad Riyadh 3-1 in the quarter-finals, the Egyptian club bowed out in the semi-finals on Monday December 18. The Egyptians were dominated by Brazil's Fluminense (2-0). Colombian John Arias (71st) and John Kennedy (90th) scored the two Brazilian goals.
Fluminense await the winner of the other semi-final, Urawa Reds-Manchester City, in the final on Tuesday.
