It's all over for Senegal. The African champions have been eliminated from the U20 World Cup. They finish last in Pool C. The Senegalese held on to qualification until the final minutes of the game.
Although they were leading 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mamadou Lamine Camara (30th), the Lion Cubs conceded in injury time (90th+5). The 1-1 draw cost them qualification for the second round. They are last with two points behind Colombia (7 pts), Israel (4 pts) and Japan (3 pts).
This is the first time Senegal have exited the U20 World Cup at the first round stage.
