Egypt coach Hossam Hassan has unveiled his squad list. The Pharaohs will play an international friendly tournament from March 22 to 26. And the Pharaohs' captain Mohamed Salah will miss these matches. The Liverpool striker has not been called up. While the Egyptian FA has not given any explanation for Salah's absence, his injury at the AFCON 2023 could be the reason. In the midst of their fight for the Premier League title, the Reds don't want to take any risks with their best striker.
Hossam Hassan will therefore play his first matches on the Egyptian national team bench without Salah. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Egypt will be up against Tunisia, New Zealand and Croatia.
