Football - Brazil pays tribute to Pele at Tangier Stadium in Morocco

Brazil played its first game since the death of the legend Pele. In a friendly against Morocco on Saturday, March 25, the Seleção paid tribute to the three-time world champion. The teammates of Vinicius Jr. wore a special jersey with the name of Pele under each number on the back.

The Brazilian Federation (CBF) also announced a minute of applause before the kickoff of the match. In the Tangier stadium hosted around 65,000 spectators, images of the Brazilian idol was also displayed on the advertising panels around the field.
