Football - Nice: Is Youcef Atal ready to leave France?

Football - Nice: Is Youcef Atal ready to leave France?

Sidelined by OGC Nice, Youcef Atal doesn't know what his future holds. The courts have opened an investigation into him for "apologie du terrorisme" and "provocation à la haine ou à la violence à raison d'une religion déterminée". These troubles are in addition to his unclear sporting situation. The Algerian full-back's contract is due to expire in June 2024, and his departure looks set to be a foregone conclusion.

According to La Gazette du Fennec, Youcef Atal is unlikely to play for Nice again and given his situation, he is unlikely to stay in France. A move to the Gulf, as early as the winter mercato, is therefore more than credible.
