Once again, France does not intend to take into account players who will be observing Ramadan. While in other European leagues, matches are stopped to allow players of the Muslim faith to break their fast, the French Football Federation refuses to apply this rule. According to RMC Sport, the FFF will not allow breaks during matches so that players can break their fast during Ramadan. This is unlikely to please the players.
