Unlucky finalists in the CAF Cup, Young Africans consoled themselves with another title in Tanzania. The team beat Azam FC 1-0 on Monday 12 June in the final of the Tanzanian Cup.
Young Africans have now won the league and cup double this season. Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi won his sixth title with the club since April 2021: Two championships, two cups, two super cups and the final of the 2023 CAF Cup.
