After sacking Beto Bianchi this season, SC Vipers have already found his successor. A few days after the 1-0 loss to Simba SC in the Champions League, the Ugandan club has appointed Alex Isabirye from BUL FC. The Ugandan team announced the news through a statement.
Isabirye said he feels privileged to be given the coaching position. "I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Vipers Sports Club, this fantastic soccer club. I am very happy to be here and look forward to meeting and working with this exciting group of players and developing a team and culture that our incredible fans can be proud of," he said.
Isabirye will work alongside other coaches, Richard Wasswa, Ibrahim Mugisha and Kato Ibrahim. Vipers are in fourth place with 28 points, seven points behind leaders KCCA FC in the national league standings.
