Cape Verde are not reassuring themselves. After the 1-5 thrashing they took at the hands of Algeria, the Blue Sharks lost to a Comoros team that had not qualified for the AFCON and had fielded a number of U23 players. The Cape Verdeans opened the scoring in the 2nd minute through Santos Rocha. But Younes Almihdhoiri (48') and Adel Mahamoud (86', sp) turned the game around and gave the Coelacanths victory.
