After their 1-1 draw with Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire were on deck again this Tuesday, October 17, when they took on South Africa at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan. Once again, the Elephants had to settle for a 1-1 draw. South Africa opened the scoring early on thanks to Zwane (10th). Sébastien Haller, who had already scored against Morocco, avoided defeat by scoring in the 65th minute. Not a reassuring result with less than three months to go before the African Cup of Nations.
