Gabon: Denis Bouanga leaves the selection and offers the victory to his club

Dénis Bouanga gave Los Angeles FC a victory against Dallas (2-1) on Sunday 26 March. The Gabonese international scored his team's second goal towards the end of the game (84th). The former striker of Saint-Etienne left the selection after the victory against Sudan (1-0) on Thursday, March 23 to join his club. "The departure of Denis Bouanga from the team is a prior agreement between his club and the national coach. It was a question of releasing the player in case of victory to make him available to his club for an important match. Any other interpretation is only guessing," said the Gabonese Football Federation, quoted by YallAfrica.
