Ghana: Women take the reins of women's youth teams

The Ghana Football Association (GFA ) has announced the coaches for its women's youth teams. With the exception of the U18 team coached by Charles Anokye, the other selections are coached by women. Anita Wiredu has taken the reins of the U19 team, Bernice Adutwumwaa of the new U16 national team, while Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo is on the U23 bench. These appointments are in line with the GFA's policy of further developing women's soccer. The women's national team is led by a woman, Nora Häuptle from Switzerland.
