"The door remains open to Andre Onana," said Song in a press conference on Thursday, March 23 in Yaounde. But a possible return of the goalkeeper trained at the Samuel Eto'o Foundation is not without conditions. "Andre himself should know what he wants. In a group, there must be discipline. We will not let everyone do what he wants. André is one of the best goalkeepers of the moment, we won't say otherwise, but I prefer the collective to individualism. He has to be part of the team. For me, the door of the national selection remains open," said the coach.
The press conference was organized in advance of the third day of the CAN 2023 qualifiers. Cameroon hosts Namibia this Friday at the Omnisports Stadium in Yaoundé.
