A double performance from powerlifter Iron Biby. The Burkinabe retained his world championship title on Saturday 21 October in Glasgow, Scotland. Biby did more than just retain his world title. The 31-year-old Stallion also set a new record in this discipline by lifting a load of 230kg. In 2021, when he was crowned world champion for the 2nd time, he managed to lift 229kg.

Iron Biby, whose real name is Cheich Al-Hassan Sanou, has just won the World log lift title for the 3rd time. He is also the Guinness record holder for lifting a person 82 times in one minute.
