Brahim Díaz has opted to represent Morocco and should be called up by Walid Regragui for the upcoming international break.It's a choice that's causing quite a stir in Spain. Luis de la Fuente, coach of the Spanish national team, reacted to the matter.
"I haven't spoken to him.I call or not, and then people do what they have to do. Brahim has been with me, I'm probably the one who selected him the most (at U19, U21). I like him a lot, but everyone is free to make their own decisions. I respect his position," he declared in remarks relayed by Hespress.
Morocco will play two friendly matches in March. The Atlas Lions will face Angola (March 22) and Mauritania (March 26).
