Morocco have been hoping to attract Brahim Diaz for several months now. In fact, some media outlets had announced that the 24-year-old was ready to join the ranks of the Atlas Lions. However, his current form with Real Madrid (4 goals in 2024, 7 goals and 3 assists so far this season) has convinced the Spanish team. According to AS, the Madrid native will be selected for the Roja in March. He will also be competing for a place at Euro 2024. As a reminder, Diaz was selected for Spain in June 2021, at the age of 21. At the time, he was under interim coach Luis De la Fuente. De la Fuente is now in charge of La Roja.
