Victoria United succeed Coton Sport de Garoua as Cameroon's first division champions. The club led by Cameroonian international Nathan Douala won the Ligue 1 Elite One on Thursday April 18, following a 2-2 draw with Stade Renard de Mélong. It was Douala who gave his team the title, equalising from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining. This is Vitoria United's first league title.
