Nicolas Jackson shocks Tottenham with a hat-trick

Tottenham and Chelsea played out an intriguing derby on Monday to close out the 11th round of Premier League matches. The Blues came from behind to beat Spurs 4-1. But Mauricio Pochetiino's men struggled to make an impact. Kulusevski opened the scoring in the 6th minute.Tottenham thought they had doubled their lead, but Son's goal was disallowed for offside by a few centimetres. Chelsea woke up on the half-hour mark when Cole Palmer converted a penalty (35th). Enzo won the penalty after a heavy tackle by his compatriot Romero, who was sent off at the same time.

Reduced to 10 men, Tottenham drew level with Chelsea, but were forced to play with nine men against eleven after Udogie was again sent off (55th). Despite this numerical superiority, the Blues were unable to take the lead. Sterling and Nicolas Jackson were clumsy in their final touches. It was the duo, however, who, after several technical errors in this match, managed to deliver the Chelsea fans. The former set up the latter for the 2-1 goal (75th). Jackson went on to score two more goals in added time (90th+3 and 90th+7). This was his first Premier League hat-trick and he now has 5 league goals to his name.

Tottenham (2nd, 26 pts) lost for the first time, leaving Manchester City (1st, 27 pts) in first place.
