Nîmes: Moroccan Adil Hermach appointed coach

 

Nîmes Olympique, in 14th place in the French National Championship with six games remaining and relegated, has decided to part company with coach Frédéric Bompard and replace him with Adil Hermach (37). Born in the Gard region, Adil Hermach, a 24-time Moroccan international between 2008 and 2014, was previously coach of the reserve team, having previously been in charge of the U18s.

Trained at Nîmes, Hermach also played for Lens and Toulouse, before returning to his beloved club in 2015, where he also played for Roeselare (Belgium), Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wahda, Al-Dhafra and Ajman Club (United Arab Emirates). He ended his career with Beaucaire, in National 3. The former midfielder's mission will be to keep the Crocodiles in the National League.
