Serge Aurier will not be wearing a Nottingham Forest shirt again after the 2023 African Cup of Nations. The English club has announced the Ivorian's departure. The 31-year-old right-back will move to Galatasaray.
"Serge Aurier has completed a permanent transfer to Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray. The 31-year-old joined Forest in September 2022 and has made 41 appearances for the Reds in all competitions. The defender, who has played 13 times this season, now heads to Turkey to join Okan Buruk's team. We would like to thank Serge for his contribution during his time at The City Ground and wish him all the best for the future," Nottingham Forest said in a statement.
We can confirm that Serge Aurier has completed a permanent transfer to @GalatasaraySK.
