Tunisian tenniswoman Ons Jabeur is the 18th highest-earning sportswoman in 2023, according to a ranking by Forbes. She earned 5.7 million euros this year. She is the only African among the 20 highest-paid sportswomen of the year.
The ranking is dominated by another tenniswoman, Poland's Iga Swiatek, who pocketed a whopping 23.9 million euros. Chinese freestyle skier Eileen Gu took 2nd place with total earnings of 22.1 million. The podium is rounded off by American tennis player Coco Gauff, who won a total of 21.7 million euros in sporting and advertising terms. The Top 20 includes 12 professional tennis players.
