Accused of rape by a young woman of 24 years, the Moroccan Achraf Hakimi has been indicted, this Friday, March 3. The entourage of the PSG player has denied the facts, citing an "attempted racket". Contacted by the newspaper L'Equipe, the lawyer of the alleged victim said that his client prefers "to confide exclusively to justice".
"We take note of the indictment of Mr. Hakimi and wish to recall that an indictment is never automatic. In this particular case, his indictment shows that the investigating judge considered that there are serious and concordant indications of the commission of the crime of rape of which my client is a victim. [We will not tolerate any campaign of denigration or destabilization to her detriment, as is unfortunately still too often the case for women who have the courage to denounce the facts of rape of which they are victims. This case needs to be treated as calmly as possible by the justice system. This is why my client has chosen to confide in justice, exclusively in justice, and will only express herself before justice", explained the other party.
