It's a crisis at Rwamagana City. The Rwandan elite club is currently shaken by a strike action of its players. They are protesting against unpaid salaries. The players have even decided not to play their next league match against Musanze FC on April 15.
"It's true, we owe them two months of salary arrears. I can't say that we will pay them today or tomorrow because we are also waiting for the money we receive from the District as the main sponsor, but we hope it won't take long," said club president Uwimana Nehemie.
Rwamagana is 12th in the standings with 26 points and 7 units from the relegation zone.
