Mohamed Salah receives the Football Fans Association's 2023 Best Player Award. This is the 3rd award of its kind received by the Egyptian international after those of 2018 and 2019. Salah battled for the title with Erling Haaland, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins. Salah spoke after the award on Liverpool's official website: "I'd like to thank everyone after winning this special award for me, because it's voted for by the fans, and I really appreciate that." Salah has scored 27 goals and made 17 assists so far in 2023.
