Sébastien Haller: "We must leave with no regrets".

Like all Ivorians, Sébastien Haller had a complex AFCON. Injured before the tournament kicked off, he watched his team-mates get dismantled during the first round. He returned in the 8th final against Senegal, and played a part in the Elephants' renaissance. He scored Côte d'Ivoire's only goal in the semi-final against DR Congo (1-0). On the eve of the final, which will pit them against Nigeria, he urges his team-mates to give their all to avoid any regrets.

"We all went through a difficult period after the defeat against Equatorial Guinea. We don't have much to lose now, as long as we give it our all. We've been lucky enough to get a second chance, so we need to make sure we leave with no regrets. What happened really brought us together, because we know how close we came to ending up in a nightmare," the Borussia Dortmund striker told a press conference.
