Standard Liege have taken to social media to announce the arrival of Yaya Touré on the staff list of Carl Hoefkens, Standard's new coach who was appointed on 16 June.
The former Côte d'Ivoire international will continue to gain experience on the bench. But he will also be sharing his experience with the players. A great coup for Standard. Prior to his arrival in Liège, Yaya Gnegneri Touré coached Tottenham's U16s. He is also returning to familiar territory in Belgium, where he made his debut at KSK Beveren.
