That's what happened to Union Berlin's Tunisian international Aïssa Laïdouni. Following a post expressing his solidarity with the Palestinian people against the ongoing aggression in Gaza, fans of the Berlin club launched a campaign on social networks against him. They demanded that their club's management take disciplinary action against the midfielder. Some of them have even called for his contract to be terminated.
