Moroccan surfer Ramzi Boukhiam has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He earned his ticket by brilliantly advancing to the Repêchage 9 round of the World Surfing Games currently taking place in Puerto Rico. This is Boukhiam's second consecutive Olympic qualification, much to the delight of the Royal Moroccan Surf and Bodyboard Federation.
According to the federation, this qualification for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games "marks a historic moment for Moroccan surfing" and "reflects not only his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport, but also the evolution of Moroccan surfing as an Olympic discipline".
