Othmane El Goumri shows that he'll be a force to be reckoned with at the Paris Olympics. As a reminder, he finished 9th at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and 12th at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene (USA). Kenyan Laban Kipngetich Korir finished 2nd with a time of 2''08''43. Ethiopia's Getaneh Molla Tamire completed the podium. He finished the race in 2''11''22.
