Scheduled to run from 26 October to 5 November 2023, the famous Tour du Faso will take place without the cyclists and even the French companies that used to sponsor the event. The Organising Committee has announced that Total Energie, Canal and Brakina/Sodibo have withdrawn from the 34th edition.
Nevertheless, 15 teams, including 12 from abroad and 3 from Burkina Faso, will take part in the Tour du Faso 2023. They include Mali, Niger, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon. But also Algeria, Belgium, Ghana, Morocco, Guinea Conakry, Rwanda and Togo.
