Ibrahima Koné played his final minutes for FC Lorient last Saturday at the Parc des Princes against PSG (0-0) on Matchday 1 of Ligue 1. The Mali international signed for Almeria on Wednesday August 16. The cost of the transfer is estimated at 9 million euros. The 24-year-old striker signs until 2028, leaving the Merlus a year and a half after his arrival. "UD Almeria and FC Lorient have agreed on the transfer of the Malian striker. He signs for the next 5 years," the Spanish club announced on its twitter account.
