Marie-Aurelle Awona is set to play in Japan. The Cameroon international has signed a contract with MyNavi Sendai. The Indomitable Lionesses defender has signed a one-season contract with the Japanese outfit. Until now, Awona has only played for European clubs, notably in France. She has played for AJ Auxerre, Dijon and Stade de Reims.
