Maduka Okoye to join Serie A
The Super Eagles goalkeeper is to be sent to Serie A side Udinese on loan for next season, according to journalist Oma Akatugba. The 23-year-old Nigerian had joined Watford after two fine seasons with Sparta Rotterdam.
But lacking playing time this season, with just 2 cup games to his name, Okoye is heading to Italy to relaunch his career a few months ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations. He will be Marco Silvestri's understudy.
Maduka Okoye is rumoured to have left #WatfordFC and joined #UdineseCalcio on loan.
Okoye joined The Hornets from Sparta Rotterdam and has made 2 appearances for Watford.
