The countdown has begun. The summer mercato is drawing to a close on September 1. In a bid to strengthen their squad, Nottingham Forest want to sign a defensive midfielder in the next few weeks. Wilfred Ndidi is the chosen one. The Nigerian international has reached a contractual agreement with the English club.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nottingham Forest and Leicester have entered into discussions and an offer is expected in the next few hours. If agreement is reached, the 26-year-old will undergo a medical before signing his contract.
