Having reached the end of his contract with Leicester and having been rumored for a time to be moving to Saudi Arabia, Nampalys Mendy is finally set to make his return to Ligue 1. The 31-year-old midfielder has officially signed for RC Lens, who have recruited him as a wildcard at the close of the summer mercato. The Senegalese international has committed himself to the Sang et Or until 2025. Mendy has been brought in to bolster the midfield for Lens, who will be competing in the Champions League.
