The Senegalese men's under-17 team will play two friendly matches against Cameroon, says the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) in a statement. The Cubs will face their Cameroonian counterparts on Saturday, March 4 at 16:00 GMT at the Technical Center Jules François Bocandé of Toubab Dialao. The two selections will meet again on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 for a new confrontation. This second confrontation is scheduled at 16:30 at the Lat-Dior Stadium in Thies (72 KM from Dakar).
These two friendly matches are part of the preparation for the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Algeria from April 29 to May 19. Senegal is in pool A with the host country Algeria, Somalia and Congo. It is against the latter that they begin their tournament on April 30 at 2 pm local.
