Mohammed Kudus played his first home game of the season for West Ham. The Ghanaian striker was unable to prevent his team from losing heavily to Manchester City (1-3). After coming on in the 67th minute, the Black Star saw the Citizens score their 2nd and 3rd goals to seal the Hammers' defeat. A difficult start for the former Ajax man, who can, however, make up for it this Thursday, September 21, against Bačka Topola in the Europa League.
