Nyadiew Puoch lands in the WNBA. The South Sudanese-born Australian has been drafted 12th overall by Atlanta Dream. The rising basketball star scored 25 points and 8 rebounds for Dandenong Rangers in the NBL1 competition before flying to the USA with her mother Nyakong, a South Sudanese immigrant. The 19-year-old, who plays for Australia, is strongly attached to her native South Sudan.
