Somalia, involved in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Group G with Algeria, Guinea, Botswana, Mozambique and Uganda, will not be able to play their home matches in Mogadishu, due to the prevailing insecurity in the capital and by extension throughout the country, considered one of the most dangerous on the planet.
After a trip to Algeria, probably on November 13 for Matchday 1, the Ocean Stars will face the Ugandan Cranes on November 21, in Casablanca, Agadir or Marrakech, Morocco.The Somalis, coached by Moroccan Rachid Loustèque, are scheduled to train in the Kingdom during the forthcoming international break, between October 9 and 20, and play two friendly matches.
