South Africa's 29-28 quarter-final win over France at the Rugby World Cup on October 15 is still the talk of the town. While the French have pointed the finger at the refereeing, some fans have targeted certain players. South African scrum-half Cobus Reinach even received death threats. This was revealed by Rassie Erasmus on Friday October 19.
"Unfortunately, these threats have been made against Cobus Reinach," wrote the reigning world champions' director of rugby on X on Thursday. It's not nice and it upsets a father and mother to see things like this about their son! But we're not going to complain, we're going to move on!"
