The Africa Cup of Nations Football Total 2022

The Total Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2022 is the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations. Cameroon will be the host country for the second time. This competition will take place from January 9 to February 6, 2022.

In June 2020, the competition was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Countries qualified in November 2020 :

Cameroon: host country
Senegal: qualified from Group I
Algeria qualified from group H
Mali qualified from group A
Tunisia qualified from group J
Côte d'Ivoire will host the Cup in 2023

In 2023 it will be Côte d'Ivoire that will host the prestigious competition and Guinea in 2025.

A Cup sponsored by Total :

In July 2016, Total announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Confederation of African Football and becomes the title sponsor of the competitions organised by the CAF. This agreement runs for 8 years and concerns the main competitions organised, including the Africa Cup of Nations 2022 and 2023, which is now called the Total Africa Cup of Nations.
