Osman Bukari celebrates goal against Angola

The Black Stars of Ghana came from behind to snatch a point on match day four tie of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola in Luanda.

Coach Chris Hughton made few changes to the side that defeated Angola in Kumasi last Thursday, introducing Antoine Semenyo and Abdul Salis Samed for Inaki Williams and Thomas Partey.

Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the first half after several threats mostly from the Angolan attack.

The Black Stars of Ghana however went down by a goal in the second half from a spotkick.
Daniel Amartey gave away a penalty which was nicely taken into the left corner by Lucas Joao in the 51st minute.

Angola went searching for their second goal of the afternoon through the left flank with Gilberto tearing apart the Ghanaian defense.

Chris Hughton introduced Inaki Williams, Joseph Paintsil, Osman Bukari and Majeed Ashimeru in search for the equaliser.

RedStar Belgrade forward, Osman Bukari make an instant impact as he fed on Joseph Paintsil's pass to grab the crucial equaliser for the Black Stars.
Joseph Paintsil came close to giving Ghana the lead but saw his effort being denied by the goal post.

After entire duration and an added time of 4, the Black Stars snatched an important point in Luanda to put them at the top of the table with 8points in 4games.
