AFCON 2023 - Qualifications: Program of the first two days

CAF has unveiled the schedule for the first two days of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The race for a place at the AFCON 2023 in Côte d'Ivoire starts on 1 June. There will be three matches on the menu for this first day. The Lions of Senegal, defending African champions, start their competition on Saturday 4 June in Dakar. They host Benin at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. The last meeting between the two teams was won by Senegal 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the AFCON 2019. The first day of these qualifications will end on 9 June with a clash between Morocco and South Africa. It should be noted that Kenya (group) and Zimbabwe (group K) have been excluded from the qualifications.
