Pyramids FC are the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the CAF Cup. Despite their 1-1 draw away to CS Sfaxien, the Egyptians will see the knockout phase of the CAF Cup this year. The Egyptians are top of Group A with ten points and will be playing in their third consecutive quarter-final in the competition.
In the other decisive group game played in Zambia, local side Zanaco saw their chances slip away as they lost at home to visiting Al Ahli of Tripoli in a 5 goal thriller.
