Ghana FA launches new Football Philosophy

President of Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku

The Ghana Football Association has officially launched the Ghana Football Philosophy at the Africa Trade House Conference Room in Accra.

The launch was attended by former players, coaches, Football Administrators, members of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture and the leadership of the Ghana Football Association.

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, president of the Ghana FA in his speech at the launch  revealed that The Ghana Football DNA will be the coaching and playing philosophy of Ghana Football going forward.

The Ghana Football philosophy identifies how we play, the current trends in football, our strengths and weaknesses, and an implementation plan to get to where we want to be with our game.

‘’We outdoor our new baby, confident in the fact that it shall form the bedrock of our football development, dwelling on relevant scientific studies and clearly outlining the brand Ghana Football ought to be’’ President Simeon-Okraku said.

He continued by calling on all stakeholders to remain patient as the Technical Directorate works around the clock to get our football back to where we belongs.

‘’Witnessing the fruits of today’s launch may require time, days, weeks, months, or even years. However with patience, the result will reflect the sacrifice and collective commitment we dedicate to this new pathway’’.

The Ghana Football Philosophy details a research by the Technical Directorate and inputs from technocrats, National and Club Coaches, (past and present), Administrators, Players, Referees, Supporters, Coach Instructors, Coach Educators, Politicians, Traditional Authorities, Women in Football, Sports Media Personalities among others.
