Hasaacas Ladies beat Ridge City in Women’s Premier League

The match day 14 of the 2022/2023 Ghana Women’s Premier League took place across all league centers over the weekend in the Northern and Southern Zones.

Dreamz Ladies 0-3 Supreme Ladies FC

Supreme Ladies FC had a sweet 3-0 victory over Dreamz Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors went searching for the first goal of the game and finally had it in the 35th minute through Faustina Agyemang.

Two second half goals from Faustina Tiwaa and Diana Amoako ensured Supreme Ladies FC record an emphatic victory over Dreamz Ladies.

Pearlpia Ladies 2-0 Ampem Darkoa Ladies

Pearl Pia Ladies saw off league leaders of the Northern zone, Ampem Darkoa Ladies to move to the top of the table.

The Tamale based club defeated the Nanamma by 2-0 thanks to goals from  Francisca Torkudzor and Zakaria Takia.

Pearl Pia Ladies after the victory have leapfrogged the former Champions to the top of the table with two points difference.

Ridge City FC 1-4 Hasaacas Ladies FC

It was another week of agony for Ridge City Women FC who are still searching their first victory of the season.

The Panthers suffered yet another humiliation at home to former CAF Women Champions League finalists, Hasaacas Ladies at the Madina Astro turf.

The Hasmal ladies began the demolishing exercise with a 6th minute goal through Veronica Kumah Baah.

In-form Veronica quickly added another in the 16th minutes with Doris Boaduwaa adding the third of the day in the 23rd minute.

Ridge City FC pulled one back before the break through skipper Lorreta Afful.

Doris Boaduwaa again found the back of the net in the 86th minute to complete the demolishing exercise for the visitors.

Police Ladies FC 5-2 LadyStrikers FC

Police Ladies emerged victorious in a 7goal thriller encounter with LadyStrikers at the Achimota school park on Saturday afternoon.

A hat trick from Jane Ayieyam, Mary Berko's strike and an own goal from Deborah Amponsah ensured that the security service team earn all points at home.

Victoria Teye William's own goal and a stunning strike from Gladys Amfobea wasn't enough to save the day for LadyStrikers as they suffered a 5-2 defeat to Police Ladies FC.
