Hasaacas Ladies recorded a whopping 6-2 victory over debutants, Essiam Socrates FC to maintain register their second consecutive win.
Hasaacas got the first of the encounter in the 5th minute by Firdous Yakubu. The former Ashtown Ladies forward got her second of the day in the 48th minute with a beautiful finish.
Other goals from Success Ameyaa, Doris Boaduwaa, Veronica Kumah Baah and Doreen Copson completed the demolishing exercise for the Western giants whilst Fuseina Afusatu and Frederica Kai Adico had the consolation goals for Essiam Socrates FC.
Berry Ladies bounced back to record a 2-0 victory over Soccer intellectuals, having lost on match day one against Hasaacas Ladies 1-0. Forward Jackie Amponsah scores twice to help her side record their first home win of the season at the Madina Astro Turf.
In the Northern Zone, Ampem Darkoa Ladies recorded a 2-0 victory over Prisons Ladies FC at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday afternoon. Ophelia Serwah Amponsah's 10th minute strike and Mary Amponsah's 77th minute strike was enough to propel Coach Darkwah's side to a comfortable victory over Prisons Ladies FC.
The much-awaited Kumasi derby ended in favor of AshTown Ladies FC following a 1-0 victory at the Bantama Astro Turf Park. A late header from Comfort Baah Nuako in the ending minutes of the epic clash, ensured Ash-Town Ladies FC amass all maximum points in front of home fans.
